Minecraft server 1.6.6 n00b edition
How to setup your private server:
- 1. Download the server file from [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
- 2. Open Run (Hotkey Start Button + R)
- 3. Type in %appdata%
- 4. Open Roaming
- 5. Drag n' Drop .minecraft server into Roaming
- 6. Open minecraft_server.jar
- 7. Some files will be created in the .minecraft_server's directory
- 8. Open server (properties file)
- 9. Change online-mode to false, if its not there, put it in there
- online-mode=false
- 10. Find out your IP and tell the people to connect to you through that
To join your own server you can type in 'localhost'
Joining a server
- 1. Start up name_minecraft.jar
- 2. Don't type in Login or Pass, just press login
- 3. Play offline
- 4. Multiplayer
- 5. Put the hosts ip here
- 6. Join
Playing Singleplayer
- 1. Start up name_minecraft.jar
- 2. Don't type in Login or Pass, just press login
- 3. Play offline
- 4. SinglePlayer
- 5. Choose a world to start
