I was wondering what would I need in order to obtain ingame console commands and be able to use them? Ive seen this done in games like Gunz Online when the Lotus Plague hit it with Admin Consoles, and with Requiem Onlines Game Console.

In Requiem it's not a real console, just emulation. Client was disassembled and list of functions that can be called ingame was "extracted". So, the first step: analyzing of game code and detection of routines that probably refer to the specific game action
The problem with in game consoles is most of the commands don't work. Only a few like statistics, FPS, Wireframe mode (if it's there in the list). I remember a particular game that included this Shadowbane. Either way it's not always 100% useful. In Jade Dynasty for instance it is useful because you can get mob ID using d_npc id 1 command in console.
Well i know that some commands dont work but it never really hurts to find out which ones do, the main reason I am looking into this is because of the Admin Console, back from Gunz Online, that thing was a beast and the fact that it was found makes me curious as to what other games have it out like that.
