3d Ripper DX..
Great program you can use for PC, Gamecube, Dreamcast and wii model ripping. So far this is a easiest way to rip models right from the game itself.
And best of all its donation ware and compatible with 3ds max and maya.
With 3D Ripper DX you can:
- capture all geometry, textures and shaders, rendered during single frame;
- import captured geometry into 3D Studio Max or Maya;
- see what exactly has been drawn by each individual draw call;
- see renderstate, textures, vertex streams, index stream, vertex declaration, vertex and pixel shaders (including HLSL source code if available) of each individual draw call.
However it's currently restricted to DX 9.0c applications only.

As an aside note,3d ripper didn't support DX10/11 and the author stop developing this tool now.
